Zum Restaurant
Zambeze, a river of African inspiration. Located in the historical centre of Lisbon, between ‘Largo do Caldas’ and ‘S. Jorge’ castle, Zambeze Restaurant offers an exquisite view between downtown Lisbon and the Tagus river. The restaurant is set on the top floor of the restored former market ‘Chão do Loureiro'. Zambeze Restaurant combines the best regional cuisine of Central Portugal, with the unique and intense African flavours.
The decoration enhances traditional elements of the Portuguese culture, including Bordallo Pinheiro porcelain pieces inside and two “azulejos“ (glazed tiles) panels outside, created by the artist Paulo Ossião.
Outside, settled within a magnificent surrounding, the terrace is the perfect place to enjoy a modern and relaxed evening.
